Information Needed

Hi guys,

A bud of mine has a German Spec 328i
It's one of the last 1999's ...it has a few E46 gadgets ...like the traction control and suspension bits...
He's been getting a couple of offers lately and would like to know more about the car...

Who can we contact to find out exactly how special this vehicle is?

Any suggestion woud be appreciated...

Hence the question, you find a lot of "feaux fundis" saying it's a german spec, Motorsport, etc....hence the advice needed from the forum..

To my knowledge the term "german spec" is just applicable on certain e36 M3 models. Again, not all of them, and now the term gets thrown around all over the place just because it sounds cool.

I have a contact who did an entire write up on "german spec". what it is, what it is not, and how to identify it.

I am trying to get hold of him, and will post it on the forum when I do get it.

But, with regards to the 328i, definitely not german spec.
Motorsport/ Individual yes.

I had last run of the 1999 318iS models, and they had the head rests at the back like the 328's, had PDC at the rear, rear blind and a diffrent front bumper (328) with the horizontal black grill between the front spots, camy with the CD changer.

This was all standard in the last run, and not charged for, maybe they had other bits for the 328

The car in the pic looks like a 328i Individual . The individual was basically a 17 inch set of mags , Motorsport kit , and a few interior bits .
The traction control ( ASC ) was a 6-cylinder update somewhere in late 97 or early 98 .
My '96 328i also lists 150Kw .....
