Info: E46 with E90 wheels

I've had a few guys PM me about fitting E90 wheels on my E46. Hence, I though of providing some info as most of the questions were about the tyre sizes. The OEM 18" E90 mag sizes are 8J front and 8.5J rear. These fit the E46 without any hub issues. Also don't believe any sales crap that these rims only take runflat tyres.

Tyre info:
225/40/18 fits perfectly on the front.
255/35/18 is the recommended rear size (on E90), but does cause rubbing on my E46. I've fitted 225/40/18s on the rear to avoid rubbing, but I have to admit that I don't like the slightly stretched look. Hence, I've got the fenders tucked in a little and going to go 255's at the rear again.

255 35 18 is correct for the rear of the e46, my individual came standard with it. Check your rear suspension!!! no need to roll fenders

Yep, my father in law's E46 328i has the E90 18" Sportpack wheels (narrow/wides) and they are the same size as above. Only difference is, the front tyres are Hankook Ventus V12 EVO's and the rear tyres are Yokohama ADVAN's - they seem to have a wider sidewall than most tyres making them look a lot wider than they should be while still being 255/35/18...

And again, proves that non-RFT's CAN be fitted to these wheels - just not the other way around I would think!

The offset of the E46 18" Individual mags are different from the E90 18" M sports. The original E46 wheels tuck in a little more than the E90 ones.
