indicators not working for 40mins

good morning you lot

i got issues with my E36 again
my indicators left and right as well as hazards dont work for about 40 mins of my trip, then by some awesomeness of the car gods they start working again.
this only happens when the car is cold.
any chance this could be the relay? anyone know where i can get one at a decent price, bmw the glen is trying to rip the ring out of it with R1000.00

most automotive relays are the same go to a hardware and get one, just make sure the coil voltage and current rating is the same:thumbs: you could also just open the original relay and clean the contacts with contact cleaner let it dry and put it back, thats how i fixed mine.

yeah ill try the contact spray.
this is a 7 pin relay so ill check around.

Its not a common relay and yes they do go faulty from time to time, don't waste your time trying to fix it, just replace it. Scrapyards are full of them.
