Independent BMW Specialist - Cape Town

Hey All

Drove my F20 118i (The reliable, old faithful, no sports mods car) down from Jo'burg to Cape Town. Have a slow coolant leak after the drive. Can anyone recommend a good independent mechanic? I don't support the swine that are BMW dealers. Must be able to pressure test.

There are quite a few places in Cape Town, where are you based?

Just off the top of my head:
* Brackenfell: Goch and Cooper
* Parklands: MasterM / RPM Motors / FuryAuto sport
* Milnerton: CerajM

All good in my opinion. I use Fury.

Brilliant Mechanical Workshop in Kenilworth is very good as well.

Thanks everyone. Im actually in Worcester but I hardly even see BMWs in this town, guess its not a Boland thing! Im happy to travel to Cape Town, at least the leak is slow (for now!)

The closest to you and ultimately one of the best would be Wentzel Motorworks in Stikland, he is an ex BMW and ex Porsche master mechanic.

Thanks all. Made a appointment with Wentzel as this is basically the closest to where I work and best traffic wise. This leak is super weird tho... Ill drive 5km in town 2 days in a row then it uses water... Then I drive it to Cape Town and back and the mark doesn't shift. It's never used coolant in its life.
