Sherwin is that just a tune, or is it a proper tuning tool, so in other words will allow diy tuning of the cars? I'm all ears if there is a tune it yourself option going.

No it's not a DIY tuning option. You can flash yourself, but it's VF maps. It's a bit dangerous to tune this type of motor yourself, but if you do want to then Bootmod is the platform for you. We are also dealers for Bootmod.

In a nutshell, 2 different companies doing the map, Bootmod is Pro Tuning Freaks.

Bootmod is cloud based and will allow you to upload your own maps and flash via their platform.

Hex is VF-Engineering and have a large internatinal base and a large support team.

bootmod for me..
and i love the new features they adding..
GTS start up roar... overun Burble.
DCT clamping etc

but honestly the F8X M have to be the Most horrible sounding cars.
Piped 135i's n54 sound so much better and even better the N55.

Their CAI and Alpha-N tune for the E46 M3 looks lovely... but I read an old thread on M3forum talking about $1400 for the CAI and software :biglol:

If it's going to be that kinda money... i dunno hey.
