Improve E90 325 fuel economy

Good day

I need advice on how to improve my fuel consumption without doing too much changes (harware or software) and obviously no error codes. I am not necessarily looking for power improvements but just better fuel economy.

Can a decat help in this regard?
Where is the better place to get this done on Centurion/Midrand area?

Having owned an E90 325i, all I can say is drive like a grandmother.... Nothing else will help!

However on the open road, it's not that bad. If you are looking for economy on an E90 platform, the 320d is the best.

Things that can help overall, are generally the oil and air filter changes every 10000km. Scan for codes and make sure the vanos solenoids are clean and the disa flaps are working fine.
