and yes, driver and creator was killed.

Below is the video, didn't want to spoil the thread with bad news, but here it is. Be warned, this is a fatal crash. If you looked at the thread about the car, you would have seen the inside of the car is practically empty. Just a bare shell, so that the team could achieve the 700kg weight of the car.

That is most unfortunate!

Does anyone know what happened, it Looked like he forgot to turn his steering wheel or the steering jammed?? It was a gentle bend and the car just went straight. Very very sad!

Apparently right wheel failed and refused to turn. Rumors is all I've been able to find. People were saying they saw sparks coming off the right front wheel before the turn. So best guess is suspension failure of some sort, forcing the car to not be able to turn.

What a machine. What a driver. Watch the last video, see how fast this thing climbs up those hills.
