I drive an E46 325ti A/T Compact and for a while now when I turn on the ignition all the lights and radio comes on but the car does not start. I replaced the battery yesterday but today it did the same. After switching of and reinserting the key the car starts. What could be the problem?

Get the codes read. There are alot of guys that have software to do it or handheld. I myself have an Icarsoft that can even read codes on the latast F30
