Have to agree with you on this as their has been much hype about the CLA.
Would be interesting comparing the weight between the CLA and M135i. Cause the CLA ain't a small car.

Now let's add the M2 and C43 to the mix
New C43 , given its weight disadvantage and auto ’box not suited to track use, it fared quite well, with a fastest time of 1 min 15.3 recorded, against the M2 Beemer jägerbomb’s really quick 1:13.8.
By comparison, the A45 hatchback manages a 1:14.6 around Zwartkops (as recorded by the instructors of the AMG Driving Academy) - slightly faster than its heavier stablemate, but still about a second off the time of the super quick M2.
I wonder what the M135i LCI and M140i would do on the same track.
