its basic but. So it can read codes and also erase trouble codes. its a handy little tool. for programing you gonna need something more expensive

Cool thanks bud, not looking to do any programming just want something that can read errors, clear adaptations etc
This looked appealing as its handheld and u dont need to plug it into a laptop

Or you can just buy a cable and download the SW, and it'll cost you around R750 for the cable... And then you can do almost anything...

If Diesel Fan can help you with Software then it will be better and more value for money at that price for cables because then you can go deeper and programe things. The handheld can not clear adaptions. I just keep it for my Dad's E90 and my sisters e46.

I think I must also ask Diesel Fan for software and where to buy cables.

Hi there, so I did some research on ways to clear an Airbag warning light of a BMW that I'm in the process of buying, and this tool seems to be the way to do it. Or is there any alternative like a cable and software on a laptop?

Have tried to clear in using a cable and INPA software but has not worked yet. Or it might just be finger trouble.

Any advice?

Yeah, can't clear an error if it's not been fixed :)

Or do what a certain unscrupulous seller did to one of our members, and removed the Airbag globe from the cluster. Good thing this is not possible on the newer cars

Souds like the airbag connector is your problem. Mine is on as well and that connector is extremely flimsy.
