I want a 135 what do you think of these?

Hello everybody,

Ok after looking and looking and selling all my cameras I found a few 135I that I like.

1st White 2010 41 000km MP to 100000 2015 (BMW performance engine and exhaust upgrade) can get it for 335k it looks very clean

How do we check this? who can help.

2nd Black 2010 can get for 330K

3rd White 2010 58 000km can get for 330k but its not clean, they are willing to fix dents and scratches but not at my choice of panel beater.

this car is higher spec than the others (sat nav xeons)

You can chat to Nivs on the forum, I know he has a good deal on a 2010 135i (Lyndhurst BMW). It also Has Mplan. $nivz330d$ is his name on the forum

All depends on your requirements. The first one for example has the OEM performance upgrade, but has no Xenons, nor does the second for that matter. Are you planning on modding the car? If so the N54 (2009 and earlier) remains the best platform for it and DCT (all auto's 2010 onwards) can run into issues when pushing more torque.

Do what I did: Go through the list of options available with the 135i and check off your essentials and those that are "nice to have". That's eventually how I was able to pick from those available at the time.

Not sure if you seen all visibly in person, but I think drive all properly first and then check it out with BMW dealer for comments on M/Plan.

You can have a low mileage car that's been thrashed proper, so best to have it driven and checked, before making a decision.

I got the VIN and checked with BMW and they cant find any information on the engine upgrade. Salesman will come back to me.

The last one has the best spec but he don't want to drop the price. He said he will fix the drivers door and to him the front and back pumpers are ok.

the black one is in Kempton park and I am in CPT.

so are these DCT good or should I rather go for manual?

DCT is insane and its quick. Won't ever get tired of the quick changes and ease through traffic.
I would say, if you going to be experiencing traffic in your car, go auto, if not, then go manual. Nothing quite relates to that sharp shove when you get that gear engaged and pull the car through, or throttle blipping yourself as you change down. Epic! oh, and I'm not sure with other cars, but stock standard I get my car to pop, haven't had a DCT or step auto do the same.
I would drive as many as you can, see what suits you best.
My current 135i was my 20th 135i I had driven.

i wouldnt buy second hand unless from a fanatic / friend with a good rep or from a dealership where you have some sort of comeback. I'm sorry, you just never know what the real history of the car is otherwise. and for R300k i wouldnt be willing to take the chance.

good luck. tough one because they both have their good specs. number 1 for me. pity no Xenons on that one as it really adds to the look of the car along with great lighting.

How much mileage do you put on in a year? You will probably want to extend the MP to 2017. For just a year and no extra kms, I paid R10500. For 1 year and 15 000km extra, the quote was R38 000.

Personally I would have liked xenons in mine, but you almost never see the difference it makes in the car's looks, as you are in it most of the time.
The first couple of months after buying mine, I thought "wtf was I thinking? Why do I need to go this fast? I should have bought a 125i or a 120d."
Now I'm thinking of doing the performance upgrade.

I would have chosen #2, as the car being a manual was the second most important criteria to me. The most important was that it should be an x35i

Hello Kerrits,

Its got the full power kit with cooling upgrade, software and performance pipe. +- 240kw and 450nm. The seats look the same as the Sports Pack and have no idea about the climate control.

I will find out today if its number 1 or number 2
