I spotted the i8 and a few 335i X-Drive's at Killarney

A friend of mine informed me late this afternoon that the i8 is at Killarney, so I rushed off to go see if it was still there and it was. They were busy packing up. They also had a few 335i X-Drive's.

I had to beg them to allow me to take pics of the interior. I couldn't take pics of the engine cos of the tape. They didn't wanna tape it all up again

I love this i8. I want one

Unfortunately some people just need to put in back in their pants for these green folks that are designing the cars these days...

This car looks like it could start competing in supercar territory, but alas.

The electric 0-100 would be eye watering though nonetheless.

The trick I used, made the guy allow me to take the interior pics.
Gave him a BMWFanatics and BMW Club business cards. Then he knew I was a BMW fanatic and he opened the door for me, but I couldn't climb in

I even rolled up in a 997. But at that stage the 991 had not been released yet.

Those are Plant Test Cars. Looks like they are doing endurance testing in SA, and then happen to stumble upon a race track. Got to love that job!

Not sure if SA will/does get the 335i xdrive.
