Following my thread from last year of my travels to Mossel Bay ( http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=53040 ), this one will include a little more than just the car.

Cupcake had the backseat all to herself for the trip

I love her to bits

I love low tide on this beach with all the flat rocks. Makes a good relaxation exploration for a few hours

A stunning church in Graaff Reinet. I am always in awe whenever we drive through to Mossel Bay and back as the route takes you right up next to this amazing building

I always say to the SO that all the little dorpies you pass when taking the long road to the Cape etc all sound so interesting. Those old dutch names just makes you want to pull off the route and explore. And to see places like the Owl House, etc.

I too would love to take like a month and get into a kitted out bakkie with a tent on the top and what not and really explore those old towns that probably haven't even heard of any technology for the last 50 years.

My folks actually stay in Great Brak, so I always had the option of either going to Mossel Bay or the other way to George if I wanted to get out the house. Went to York High in George. Best route to school and back anyone could ever ask for - the old George road through the twisties
