There is already talk of a private ice cream meet up, without a run, supported by all those who wanted to attend the run for the two coming up to the province.
This event has already been cancelled and so reinstating it will just look like more drama in any case.
By the way, this is not my first ice cream run event planning. I have done so in the past. But it will be my last. Any get together I plan from here onwards will be off the forum, and NOT because of the charity event clash.
I will attend the birthday get together this Saturday, and I will attend the charity event. I cannot make any decent contribution as I myself have fallen into financial difficulty and find myself thinking of selling my car more often than not.
I see why others have stopped supporting events.
Arbee I do not think you should stop with all the effort you go through to plan and make events happen. There won't be much happening if you do...

There is a lot of animosity between members and forum and all this happens on whatsapp groups. Tbh, its one influencing another. Thats it... we cannot control this.
Anyways, I think reinstate your event. Say that we discussed it and the event will go on as planned. However, this is my idea you dont have to follow it. Have it a meet and greet only. Earlier than your expected time. Maybe 9 to 11 as an example.
