I need sum help guys!!!

I noticed while driving 2day tht my car was doing sumtin funny. When in drive she accelerate's automaticly and then cums down. I put it in neutrel nd it revs up nd down then when i rev it, it stops. This happens while im driving. Can anybody relate 2 this, is it sumtin 2 worry about? :dunno:

Idle valve or possible vacume leak.

it revs to about 3thousand then cums down to 1 al the time, wen i rev it goes up 2 5 thousand revs then cums down slowly.

My 318i did this when the Mass airflow sensor went...:mmm:

My 318i A/T did the same.
Try and get a code read.

Still say, Throttle body, or Idle valve or air leak which could be the Maf Sensor.

Mine was a air leak on a manifold pipe. Cost 38 buck for the DIY.

When you start the car open the bonet and listen for a sucking sound or air leak.
