I lost this

Hi Guys,

So very heavily medicated i decided to change a blown headlamp bulb.

I dropped the clip that hold the headlamp bulb in place see image,

What do i call this or what do i ask for when i go to BMW? any idea where i could get one?

These clips are almost universal. You can even use a VW 1. Look for broken lights and remove that 1 and put it onto your light. That's what I did 1 time

Its called a headlight bulb retainer clip.. if you need to purchase one.

i took a quick peek... i think a safe space will be to check in a scrap yard... look for a damaged headlight, cause you can get the clip from there, as the yard might not be able to sell the headlamp

Have checked and no one wants to sell me the clip by itself.

Even BMW themselves dont sell that clip.

I guess its time for ebay

Think i might have a spare in my toolbox at home.

I just bought a stuffed headlight as I needed the adjuster motor and the back sealing cover.
It still has the clips that you need. You can have them for sure.
Where about are you?
