So just before I closed the workshop this afternoon we had a 5 minute thundershower, just enough to leave my car with thousands of dirty spots from the rain, I felt so embarrassed to be seen in public on my home like this....that before even thinking of attending to diner etc I had to get out the polish and rag and get her looking perfect again.......I HAVE "OCD" about a clean car...is this normal ?

and so after closing the shop this lunch time I decided the E38 was looking rather dirty...
out with the washer, then the polish and "wax-on-wax-off", and then decided to buff up the black skirting boards etc as well.

after all was said and done...I am in love all over again with my E38

so which one to drive tomorrow ???? E38 or E39 ??

Funny you posted this, my car is in dire need of a good wash and it's all I've been thinking about today. Actually went around the car 10mins ago looking for sports that need attention, however minute.

You've done a good job on your E38

Dude...

OCD is NOT SOMETHING TO BE ASHAMED ABOUT

Trust me... I spent years worrying about my OCD. and around new people I still get made fun of. Embrace it... besides, you have a great car. It deserves being taken care of. And on this forum nobody will think bad of you for doing so... in actual fact, this is going to make you a HERO
