Hi All,

Name is Ryan, new here on the forum.

I have a 330D LCI and I would like to do some subtle mods.

- A gearbox service/ remap
- Engine Remap

I plan to own this car for a few years, but would like some new feelings behind the wheel.

I just moved from JHB so I have no idea of where to go.

Do you guys have any recommendations?

Thanks a lot.

First get your car over to ZF for the gearbox service

Then go to xflow, TMSS or powerflow Randburg to get a downpipe.

You have many options for the remap. My recommendations is Xcede or Madness Motorsport.

You can PM me if you need details.

Karsh has basically got it covered above. I would suggest you go through the various vendors on the forum to see which Tuner suits you best, give them a call and see which ticks your boxes.

+1 on the above. Whats your mileage on the car Over and above the gearbox service I would suggest checking the crank dampner pulley for cracks and if possible get ZF to do a diff oil change aswell

Thanks soo much, booked it in for a GB service at ZF in Cape Town.

Will definitely start there.

Thanks for the reply.

Its on 134k at the moment.

Car has a very healthy history, engine and body.

Its a 2012 registered car but a 2011 model.

Couldn't agree more with the guys above...

Make sure the car is mechanically fit and in good health.

Services up to date
Filters aren't gone to the dogs
Brakes and lines are up to scratch
Check for oil leaks and boost leaks
Gearbox looked over by ZF and serviced if within spec
Pulleys and Belts
Control arms and balancing/alignment
Dyno in stock form

Now you should be ready for a good ecu and gearbox tune...
I've had mine done with RK Motion and no issues since being out of M/plan which was almost 2yrs ago (57000km).
Xcede, MadnessMotorsport and SRSpeedworks also conduct fantastic work.

Best speak to each tuner and build on a good relationship.

All the best man
