Hyundai Getz Fuel Consumption

A friend of mine has a 1.4 Getz. Went in for a service last week on 110 000km. Before the service he did 600km average on a tank (just city driving). Now it doesn't even get to 500km.

Any knowledge as to what the cause can be?

There is something wrong best i got out of m 1.6 was 700km but avg was 600.

Might want to check the air flow meter. I have seen it before where a faulty air flow meter causes excessive over fueling and very bad fuel economy.
