You are very welcome LordPhoenix. I genuinely enjoyed checking her out and going for a drive. The car really was in fantastic condition and drove solid. Re price - the seller's argument was a "collectible in mint condish" hence his firm price. Hope your deal goes well.

Best regards,

Sasha

Mr Sasha,

I really cant thank you enough, if all goes well, and I come down to CPT to pick her up, I owe you a bottle of anything you like.

Its all about supply and demand and the seller knows it. These facelift sportpack models rarely come up for sale. Its difficult to talk a seller down over the phone, you need to be there and point out the niggles to bring the price down. I paid full price (R135k) for my touring 3 years ago although it was still under motorplan and only had 87000km on the clock. It was exactly what i wanted with the right colour and ofcourse SP so i paid full price the bmw dealer was asking, she is worth every cent!
Get down to CT and do the deal yourself, show him his car aint worth the high asking price but dont insult him doing it. Good luck!

Gizmo,

I'll be honest, I am prepared to pay that price for her, shes beautiful, and everything I wanted, and I agree 100% on the rarity, especially CI models with M Sport kits,

If I get her, I need to pop around to your magic shop in Alberton....

Regards
Ebrahim

A bottle of Maker's Mark Bourbon - we can guzzle it while testing the CI's top speed! :roflol:

Before policing begins - the above is a joke.

just a side line if i can add, for extra piece of mind and seeing you so far away and you are really interested in this specific ride.

Why not get an Dekra 'Mulit point check' done on her that way you are guaranteed (to a certain extent of course) a peaceful no sweat deal - just a thought use it dont use it:thumbs:

Multi-point:

Or a more comprehensive check.
Technical Inspection:

I went a step further for you.

Just called the Airport branch now for costing.

Multi point inspection = R460 takes about 0.5hours and you can just rock up and they do the necessary checks and provide you the paper on completion.

Technical inspection = R1610 takes about 3-4hours, this you have to book in advanced and its a drop of and collect when called scenario, again papers are provided on completion.

So there doesnt seem to be any waiting time for papers/vehicle report.

Ball is now in your court bro.

Goodluck with your purchase; she is beautiful:thumbs:

Just to add.... Did u check the VIN no with BMW... A buddy and I drove very far for a 325is EVO 1, after checking the VIN with BMW , oops not a EVO1.. With regards to the Booked being stamped, everything is not always listed. I asked for a printout from BMW. Just my 2c. Good luck:=):
