Hello from Cape Town. Found my way here after searching online for E36 info. I've been wanting an E36 Motorsport for a few years now, and I think it's time I try find one. My dad had 3, one of which was a 318 Motorsport, and I have a lot of good memories with them. It was the first car I drove as a kid. Drove it up a sand airstrip at a gymkhana event, and proceeded to do a few unintentional doughnuts when I had to make a u-turn; my dad in the passenger seat ripping the handbrake with all his strength, haha.
I drove in my buddies E36 316i yesterday, and even though its a bit slow, its such a great all round car. I've been driving a '96 1300 Citi for the past 9 years, still my first car, but it's time to go.
Whatever I get, I'd like it to be a Motorsport. If I cant get one then I'd like to at least source the body kit in the mean time. I think I'd be happy with the 1.9 16v motor, but I almost want to push to get a 323i or 325i.
