how to reset... done the reset

Ok so I changed oil,oil filter and air filter. But now how do I reset the oil service indicator.

There is a CBS procedure you can do from the cluster. Google cluster reset, I am not sure how to do it on the E90.

Alternatively, come past and I will do a scan for you, call it part of the service.

This is actually critical, as only like 15% of errors are displayed to the driver, which means your BMW could be sick, and not telling you.

Thanks LZ, I need to replace the window washer pump tomorrow. Maybe I'll just ask the guy to do for me when he fits it for me. R300 for pump not to bad I hope. Almost had a hart attack this morning when I got to the car and it left a puddle for me. :argh:

So I phoned Coisman to get Jacques number, when I told him at first we suspected the expantion tank so I took out the air box to check. But the whole time I'm thinking why is the water dripping on the left. And after a closer look found the pump leaking.:flyfun:

Think the washer pump is something like R80 from goldwagen and fitment should not take more than 30sec.

Thanks Youtube after a bit of searching I fond it and its done took 30sec cool.

Also fitted the washer pump R85 for pump and 2min to fit.

I'm aswell, to think the one place wanted to charge R250 for it. Have you fitted your washer pump yet.

Yeah I did, but it would seem that I have blockage in the system so I will have to try will have to try and sort that out as well, aih, not looking forward too that.

Do you have a compressor at home. If not we can always make a plan.

Not really, only have one used to inflate tires with, but that is pretty good idea, would just have to be careful, don't want to damage the piping.

I think its pretty safe did my Sentra like that. Remove pipes from jets and pump and blow. What do you put in your bottle. I normally put windolene in.

That is good to hear, I put in some of the tablets specifically for washer fluid, but not sure if this caused the blockage.
