How to remove Bolt and crankshaft sprocket BMW e46?

Need some info on how to remove the bolt and crankshaft sprocket from my 2000 BMW 323i E46. Not sure if i need a special tool or if i only need to lock the flywheel with pin??? Please help.:roflol:

You need to lock the flywheel and use a very long breaker bar to remove the crankshaft bolt.

On my son's facelift 320d the one guy used a large screw driver to lock the ring gear and another guy used a torque wrench with extension to undo the big nut on the crank pulley. That was on a lift, btw.

dude, please tell him to buy a breaker bar for that! i doubt that torque wrench will be correct after such abuse :thumbdo:
