Madness...but it seems to work.

He spent so much on the car...he could have made a better driving video instead of just socalled dust drifting...:nonono:

I have to say the guy did a really good job, and also well done for just making it look like the 1M and not going for kinds of other over the top mods in terms of the looks.
The 1M would have been a lot more special if it was done like this, with a proper M engine.

Now if BMW made the M1 with the M3 engine in it, it would have been quicker than the M3 :fencelook:

Iesh. All that weight upfront. Doubt it handles like an M car.

I don't think it adds that much, keep in mind that the S65 is lighter that the S54 which is a "smaller" engine, also the S65 weighs slightly over 200kg which is pretty damn light for an V8.

As far as I can see the S65 weighs 202kg and the N54 weighs 195kg so not that much difference, well not enough to destroy the handling.

You learn something new every day! I wonder how much weight was pushed forward if any?

Well if the M60 is anything to go by then the with the V8 the weight will actually be closer to the centre of gravity of the car as the V8 shorter than the I6 and both sit equally close to the back of the engine bay.

Awesome :praise: - reminds me when we did my 325 e46 with the M3 v8 motor. Just the 1 series makes it so much more :inlove:
