how is this possible? window related

so my car went in today to get the drivers window replaced.

they got the glass, dropped my car off, and left.

now they phone me and tell me that there is a part missing that holds the window to the mechanism.

how the hell can that be??? how has my window worked perfectly for 2 years with a missing critical part???

really pretty pissed off at the moment :banghead:

wonder if they did'nt by chance make the part missing, or break it in the process of trying to fit the new window.

well, its glasfit, so they have no reason to make the part go missing.

the breaking it part I am not 100% unconvinced of

Most likely they broke it or lost it, and now you have to pay for a new one.
Ask them if the window would work without this now missing part.

I am a little worried now.

I picked up my car, cause I need it, and from what I can see, the needed part is actually there!!!!!
