Yeah... I couldn't find it when wanted to join at first...

I like forums.

When I bought my Xbox 360 I joined the Xbox 360 Forum. Bought the Ps3 and joined the PS3 Forum.

Bought a BMW and looked around for a BMW Forum. Came across this forum and have resided here ever since.

Recommended to join by fellow BMW owner Matt Q. Took a while to join, and decided this is the place to stay once I had. A great place to be, with many new friendships formed.

I was scratching around on Gumtree. This was soon after I bought POFS and stumbled across an add on gumtree, advertising the BMW forum.

Signed up a few days after the forum was started I think.

So from the looks of it, I am the first gumtree entry so far.

I saw these dodgy people checking out my ex e34 M5 @ Zwartkops. They would just not leave, so I kept a close eye on them from a distance.
Eventually went there to face them, and it turned out to be a huge e34 fan. – None other than Uber Soldat accompanied by Kobus325is . They invited me to the forum.

Joined shortly after Freerider and SirSparky started the forum. Think I followed a link from the E30 forum... was a few years ago now.

Go to the link below and you'll see the first user profiles that were create. The list is sorted in descending Joining Date:

:pimp:
Nic, looking at that list I see there is ALLOT of dead weight users if you catch my drift... Some guys last posted 2009???
Why cant we get rid of these users?? They can always rejoin if they like, but no post or log on from 2009..... :nonono:

We do have a automated user pruning system, but it only removes inactive profiles with zero posts. We don't really want the automated system do anything more than it's doing now to prevent "friendly fire" of users who just browse mostly. Removing accounts manually... well that will just take forever. It has very little impact on the forum and server and I have seen members that have been quiet for years come back and not just on this forum. Better to leave as is. :thumb:
