Horrendous Workmanship at Zambesi ARC

Hi All
Just though i should share my experience with Zambesi ARC thus far

My car first went in to Zambesi ARC on the 24/08/2015 for a replacement left front headlight, bumper and bonnet, because of a minor bumper bashing, on the 09/09/2015 I was told I could collect the car, as the repairs were done.
On Monday the 13/09/2015 the car was returned to Zambesi for the poor quality of work provided, and the following items
1-Gap between bumper and bonnet not correct...one side is closer/narrower than the other
2-Huge gaps on the right headlights and bumper
3-My aircon takes forever to get cold
4-There is white residue/overspray all over the car

The car was returned to me on the 15/09/2015 and was guaranteed by them that the car is now back to spec and there should be no more issues.

Today i inspect the car and there is different size gaps between headlights and bonnets..
what recourse do i have?

See pics attached..

Experience ive had with repairers is this - if doing it though an insurer do not sign the "release note / collection note" until you're fully satisfied, because A) the insurer won't pay the repairer out and B) repairer gets a bad rep with the insurer which they do whatever to avoid.

Insurers involvement is finished as soon as you take delivery - they then ask you to sort any issues out directly.

Otherwise, you're in for a long battle. Best you can do is go back to the repairer and bitch & moan until you're satisfied.

Bud throw your toys!! I'd ask for a meeting with the DP of Zambesi and the manager of the ARC and show them your dissatisfaction with their workmanship, I mean it's clear to see and they'd be idiots not to see it! Tell them you want a loan car whilst they are sorting it out as this is now the third time the car will be with them! Make an issue though, it's the only way!:coolShake:

is this the only issue that is outstanding?

Reason is ask cos it looks like they might have just adjusted the bonnet stopper a little too high.

If other issues, then go with the above suggestions

Seems to me the car is parked in a turbulent pressure zone. What happens is that on the one side, the pressure is lower than the other. You don't notice but your finger swells in the low pressure zone, and that's why you think there is a difference.

That looks like the bonnet stopper loke sash said. Might be less of a hassle for you to just adjust it yourself
