hmmmm new scirocco or bmw 135i coupe

Sup. Was in the same boat...

Shopping around for cars for the chick...

Looked at the Scirocco vs the 135i.

After research the obvious choice was the 135i purely because it klupped the Roc in all aspects. Did you test drive a Roc yet? It's freaken terrible. I hated it. It handled ok but felt abit too plastic-y. And I also think it looks weird

Power wise there is no contest, Roc = 147kw... Beemer = 200+kw

Plus you can't go sideways in a Roc

the 135i is 225kw and the VW is 147kw
135i has all the fancy bells and whistles! the scirocco does not even have the option for a multi function steering wheel!
my partner in crime on STREETRACER had a choise of SCIROCCO OR GTI 6 and we tested both!
The SCIROCCO is 147kw but weighs nothing so it is considerably quick! the GTI 6 is a proper car.. 155kw and moves like nothing! electronic L/S short shift 6speed, heated seats and heaps more!
Best of all ASK ANY TUNER WHO HAD THE GTI 6 ON HIS DYNO WHAT THE ACTUAL POWER IS! the book claims 155kw on the engine and it makes 151kw on the wheels! the mazda MPS claims 191kw on the engine and makes 135kw on the same dyno! 135i or GTI 6 FTW..

anyway armandus bought the GTI 6 and im impressed!

I don't think the allure of a new car smell in the scirocco will ever outweigh the 135i ... in all aspects other than personal taste:thinker:

pa the scirocco is a gorgeous car no doubt but against a 135...no chance u cant even compare the two, its like asking whether u should choose a fat ugly cherrie or an FHM model...u choose

If you are 150K shy of the 135i then the Roc will look very pretty :excited:

The Scirocco does look pretty good from my point of view, 135 is just a beast... So I guess it comes down to look or performance I guess... Test drive it both, it will make your decision that much easier:wave:
