Hi all,
So from the time I bought my car...there was an issue with the driver's door speakers and the one rear left parcel shelf speaker. I didn't let the dealership (non-Toyota) prod and poke around with the fear that it could get worse.
The other weird symptom is sometimes if the car is parked in the sun for awhile or the inside gets hot, the speakers start playing BUT the subwoofers switch off. Also, the head unit software update is greyed out BUT when the speakers work....the the software update is available but doesn't allow me to update the head unit.
Now I want to get this sorted out and I also find that on Ista and even on Carly, there is an error code for it. Has anyone experienced this type of issue before?
The code is : B7F4A2: Error speaker channel front right (midrange when driven separately) / Error speaker channel front right (midrange when driven separately) (Open circuit or short circuit to ground or positive)
