Hilly's 335i

Hey everyone,

Haven't posted here in a while. I own a 2008 bmw 335i which currently own for about two years now. Bought it from Chicago (I live in Oklahoma but originally from joburg). See list below of some of the mods I've done to the car so far:

JB4 and DCI
7 inch VRSF front mount intercooler
19 inch m3 rep hyper silver rims with new tires
M3 rep front bumper that will be put on next week. The bumper is sitting at the body shop right now.

Eventually would like to slap on some downpipes.....see pic below of my car from one of the car meets earlier this year. Thanks!

How's the American life treating you in comparison to Sunny SA? :=):

Good but had to get use to at first (in a good way). No electric fences and people would run into the gas station with the car door open and car still running. I always thought try doing that in SA and see how far you would get lol. A lot of people also walking around at night with their kids in the neighborhoods. Area I live in is very laid back and quite safe

You will always however miss certain things in SA. For me it's certain foods, restaurants, and of course my parents.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I am itching to get the m3 bumper on, the earliest the guy can get started on spraying and putting it on is next week. I will try and put some pics on it as soon as soon as it is on.

Ok well mine is a 2008 model with 41,000 miles (65,000KM if I convert correctly) on it when I purchased it. I bought the car for $18,000 which i think where the rand is now comes up to be R193,000....

There are ones as low as $15,000 (R160,000) but with higher miles on it....

What does the 335i go for in SA these days?

quick update - got rotors and brake pads replaced on friday and then dropped the car off yesterday with the M3 front bumper at the body shop. Guy said that it should be done by Wednesday of this week...really excited to see the new look. I will post before and after pics as soon as I have the car back

Hilly I love those amber corners on the headlights you guys get there. Car is looking sweet, gonna look even better with the m3 front bumper. Looking forward to seeing the outcome. Keep it up bud. When's the jb4 going in?

Thanks! The JB4 is already in - on the first post I listed all of the mods I got in the car, only thing now is the m3 bumper I am waiting on
