I Drive a 2015 BMW 116i F20 (N13 Engine), and I've been having this issue for a few months where I get this scratching trumpet noise when I'm accelerating above 2000 Rpm and after the gear shifts. I was told by a RMI that it could be a faulty water pump friction pulley that makes this noise.
Before I go out and spend a ton of money on a part that could not be the issue, has anyone experienced this before ?
