Bought my car with 29000kms last year august, lower mileage than yours, this year i ahve 74000km, i have past you with a fury and you are still in the 50000km bracket...wher-ter-ferk?!!!

Since my last post I've bought and sold 2 E46 320d 6spd manuals. And what great little cars they are! So much so I'm buying another one this weekend (E90 320d 6spd)

All 3 over 200k km with original turbo and only 1 clutch replacement on all of them.

I simply cleaned the intercoolers, boost sensor, map sensor, major service them and they purr and pull like new. Remarkable cars. Definitely a fan now.

Mine is on 75000, point of no return has passed, guess I am keeping her for a daily. No major mechanical problems to report the N47 is rock solid - until she gets a few mods thrown her way :fencelook:

2002 320d E46. 404000km. still going strong. original turbo replaced on recall on about 60k. my daily driver. turbo is starting to whistle so will replace within next month or so.

I'm sitting on 156000km.

I just did a Durban trip, averaged 5.5 going down and 5.3 coming back!
I've done 16 000km since I got her, no service lights have come on but I'm taking her in to Ross Duncan next week. Rather keep her in good nick than wait for something to happen.

Dawn u guys made me so happy I bought mine .

I have mine 3 weeks now .It's a 2005 e90 320d and she has 116000 km on clock and going strong.

I am not far behind bud, im using this car as a daily so mileage will never be able to sit...and I love driving the Polo but boost is way too addictive!:thumbs:

Mine is a 2005 E83 2.0 diesel manual.

I bought it from a mate with 220 000km on and it now has 315 000km.

Original turbo.

Clutch was replaced at about 250 000km.

Transfer case / centre diff was refurbished at 270 000km.

Otherwise just service and tyres.
