So I've been driving around a while with what I thought are normal lights, (night time driving)

Recently I have noticed my throw is extremely short but I didn't think much of it until I noticed if I put my brights on it lights up considerably more ... no surprises there....

until I noticed If I drive with my brights on, no one seems to bright me back which got me thinking, possible problem with my lights?

Also I've noticed that my inner lights don't flash bright, only my outers ...

Is this normal?

I'm booking it in to check this out but just wanted to hear fellow fanatics thoughts

the inner lights don't light up except for the ring.

the outer light works for both, I stand to be corrected but I noticed this on my F20 and e90 both with xenons

I think the inner lights switch on when the wheels are turned. But I think its an option. I've seen E92 Ms with this. High beams and normal headlights are from the outer bulbs.

Park about 10meters away from a wall on a level surface, you can set the height of your headlights there are two adjuster screws

Check this link, I did a halogen to xenon conversion and mine also had a short throw just checked online how to adjust them
