Hid ballasts

Sup fanatics.

So I got myself an HID kit for my E36. Did the spots already and i'm planning on doing the headlights soon.

Is there anyone who has fitted a set to their E36? Installing is easy......I'd just like to know where you mounted the ballast? The passengers side could maybe be mounted on the top of the wheel arch but there's a big water bottle waiting to explode on my ballast if I do the same on the drivers side.

Any advice guys?

When I had it in my E36 I mounted it underneath the light where the bumper mounts bolt onto the chasis. Nice hidden away spot out of the way of day to day stuff and also out of harms way.

hey bud.. I don't have but my buddy has a set in his 328i and he mounted the ballast on the inside panel next to each of the lights. I will take a pic when I see him

I can't picture where. So if u can do that(take a pic), that would be awesome

Decided to slap them under the bumper. Same place I put the ballast for the spots. Looks decently neat. Oh Rodney I kinda figured out where your buddy put his. Thanks tho
