What you describe sounds like a vacuum leak, check all air hoses and the rubber intake elbow for leaks.

I've changed the PVC valve and the air box pipe too and it still has a jerk and lack of power .do you think it could be the maf sensor

I did one and it never said anything about the maf sensor ....I really need to find the problem it has lack of power too

About last year November and there was some black dirt in the old filter so maybe the tank has got some dirt in too

You can also check this by driving with a full tank and an empty tank and see if the symptom is the same. If not then it will be a blockage in the fuel line. If it is the same then you might need to check the coils or even the injectors.

Try and get the error codes for the car (someone with diagnostics tool) then we can give you some guidelines :rollsmile:

When there is a certain amount of fuel in the car it runs fine and I've noticed when the fuel is low it also starts to jerk but there is enough to drive for a few more km ...I think I should take the tank out and clean it and see if it clears up ....because when I changed the filter it had some black dirt in it so maybe that's also in the tank

Is your fuel pump making a noise when you switch the car on, I had my fuel pump packed up as it was making a heavy noise when it was close to 1/4 tank fuel.

But agree, start by cleaning the tank and then see if it disappears.
