hi guys, newbie to this forum....

got a 135 on wednesday, this moring i see it had cold start problems.
is this a common thing or should i send it back?

What cold start...does it take long to crank over?...does it not start?...what exactly happens?

Welcome to the forum .
If you use google as a electronic diagnostic alalysis tool you will be able to peruse various conditions pertaining to your present predicament , as in all probability it has been documented ad nauseum .:roflol::roflol::roflol:

thanks guys, no its not battling to crank over so i dont think is the HPFP problem, its only when its cold. if i drive it then the engine light comes on and i get a limp mode -reduced performance....
then it warms up, i can switch the car off and back on then its fine, no lights and all power....

Tom, the problem sounds serious. Best to take it to the dealership asap. When the car is cold is when you want it to be at its most healthiest. Dont delay on having it checked.

Post some pix of your ride. There are many x35 owners on this forum that would be very keen to assist you.
