Hi all.
I'm new to the forum and would like to show off my recently acquired beauty.
It's an '02 318i with sports package. Titanium silver 210000 km on the clock and a knock in the engine:withStu:
I'm a huge fan of the e46 and have driven one similar to this and absolutely love it. I was looking for something different as a project to keep me busy (planning to frankenstein a 2JZ into a Ci:tiptoe
I haven't seen a 318i with a sports package before so I would like to restore this to original and now comes my question. Do I pull the block and have it rebuilt or do I source another n42 and slap it in?
As far as I know the sports package doesn't do anything to the engine, just the suspension and final drive along with the aerodynamic package changing the bumpers. Is this true?
