Hi-Tech Mag Repairs

So 2 weeks back I went and did balancing to find out that 2 rims are buckled :bangdesk: I got another set of rims but 2 rims are slightly buckled and 1 thats really out of shape, might as well get the spare set repaired 1st before doing the current set

Question is has anyone had their mags repaired by Hi-Tech ? any good or bad experiences ? I've heard alot of good things about them and seen impressive work on their website.

They are very good but they charge twice what equally capable companies charge in my experience.

I swear by Wheel Collision Center in Edenvale. They are the best in the business

I have used these guys, did a repair on a slightly buckled 13" Corsa mag & they charged me R595... Job was done in 2 days & wheel was perfect afterwards.. I will Defiantly use them in future for any of our other wheels

I used them to redo all 4 my BM's wheels. Two were very badly cracked. I also delt with Mario. He picked up the rims from the workshop wher my Beemer was at and dropped them off 4 days later. I must say, very good job. The rims look beter than original.

How much did he charge you?

R550 excl for the two rims that were okay and R750 excl for the two bad rims. So all and all incl VAT R 2768 for everything. Thus far I'm happy.

I use them personally and for our company cars. Had a rim the other day that had a crack (Pothole damage), you could actually see through the crack, (about 20cm in length). They fixed it better than new.

I've used Hitech regularly in the past and can definitely recommend them.

Speaking of which - I need to send in my wife's 18's of her A3. All 4 rims are buckled

Have you got a number for Mario or email address?

I got to get my wheels slightly refurbed, got some scratches on them. :faill:

Mag wheel services in Mayfair did very decent work for me in the past. About 20% from 2 of my wheels were missing after the guy I got it from hit a curb and they built the wheel with zero issues.

Sorry guys. I have to find the receipt. Just look on their web site, I think Mario's number is on there.

I've used HighTech in the past. Excellent service and workmanship. I thought their pricing was reasonable. They refurbed all 5 wheels for me and one was really badly damaged.

I use them only....and often for all our wheels.

Have a set in at the moment they sorting out. Excellent service.
But as you know, service comes at a price.

Mario is the man to talk to.

They are not the cheapest but their work is outstanding. They redid and polished my m3 wheels. The quality was terrific and they provided me with a set of loan wheels to keep me mobile...
Not sure if he is still around but speak to Quinton at the Alrode branch...
