I reckon do something not yet done.
Keep the original wheels, see if yu can work them into 17's or something, put it on some stretched rubber, stances on them with some nice camber!

Keep the rest as OEM as possible with OEM mods, such as the front spoiler and a rear e28 spoiler.
Nice purchase!

And some recaro seats. Need some recaro seats.
And a wooden rimmed steering wheel with the OEM M-Tech 2 steering wheel inlay!!

for suspension look no further  I can get you whatever you want... give me an idea of what you want this car to be?

if it were mine i would stance it out a little with a slight drop and leave it at that it looks to be in great condition... I would even keep those steelies they work well on that car...

this is a very clean example you dont want to ruin it so be careful :)

I'd try and keep it as original as possible, seeing that it looks all standard.

OEM +1 is what i would do to this car just a few little changes to make it even more pretty than it already is while not messing with the old school cool it has :)

Wow, not easy to find these, especially in such nice condition! I would try and keep her as original looking as possible, maybe some tasteful closer period OEM wheels (not easy I know, but worth it). Suspension to freshen up the handling is fine, but would not go too radical with it, Moranor will be able to sort you out! Brakes, same sort of thing, cannot spare on safety!

Other than that, this is a splendid looking car and really does not need much to make it better in my opinion! The moment you start fiddling with the looks, it will start to look tatty and tasteless in many cases!

Welcome to the forum.
You have a rare car there and I would propose that you do nothing to it.
The car is a non executive model and there were very few of them built with your spec.
Doing wheels and exhaust will detract from the car.
Doing sound provided you do not hack the rear parcel shelf and door panels will be a good addition.

Obviously this is my opinion and I am not proposing to ram it down your throat.

I trust that you will consider your options carefully.

thanks for the thoughts guys, I'm not going to go mad with the car,
I only got it yesterday and the looks i get driving down the street is incredible.
The drive is a bit boat like, so suspension def needs looked at, just new shocks and uprated springs planned for it,
as far a wheels go the a-line scorpions are planned for it
I don't know if you've seen ian's e12 from the uk
7153181397

I love the look of his E12 the wheels are a little big just sticking to 17's
bodywork is going to have a front splitter and thats it
not even going down the rear spoiler route
the sound system is going to be a basic upgrade at this time don't want to wreck the interior , tho the recaro seats look awesome I do say.
I don't want to do anything to the car that can't be undone and returned to original
I am Planning to change the manual windows to electric thats as far as the interior will be cut up
