How things change. It must've been a little over a year ago that you said you wouldn't buy another M-car. Nice ride, welcome back.

Could not resist bud, needed a S54 in my life.

Plus, I can not deal with the roadster's electric steering anymore... I simply hate it... Would have been a much better car with hydraulic steering.

OK, now that the introduction is over, on to the next stage of this thread, the to do list.

But first, a big thank you to the guys at AutoMC who accommodated my requests throughout the sale process, and Nick who is a through and through car Fanatic.

And of course, our very own ChefDJ who put me onto the car after I thought it had sold long ago.

any idea where that lip is from.

BTW - Can I recomend to you and all othe Z4M owners, put some form of protection on the small quarter/wheel arch between the back wheel and lower part of the door - it seems to attrack stone chips so easy there.

and I luv those rims man. :blowheart:

Thanks Mike, we will get into the detail of the splitter, I've got a feeling AutoMC made it though, but not 100% sure.

Yip, she has some paint damage in that area and other, but as I am planning a full paint restore & correction, so when she is done, perfection it will be.

The TO DO list:

1. Have steering wheel and gear knob refurbished, it is rather confusing to me to see in a cabin so immaculate, both the steering wheel and shift know showing visible signs of wear.

2. Adjust coil overs to increase ride height by 10mm, for our Gauteng roads.

3. Have a full paint restore / correction done as the paintwork is showing use, storage and "high speed" buffing.

4. Have both rear rims straightened, right rear is visibly buckled.. both Nick and myself were surprised by this as they have a only like 2,000km on them.. but OK, the lads at TW&T Paarl did a fantastic job in balancing these rims.

5. Have the splitter repaired, or a new one fitted as the current one has signs of damage.

6. Slightly tint front and rear lights.

7. Caliper studs showing signs of rust, this needs resolve.

I'm not one to say I told you so, but...you were warned. :=):
I would threaten to join you on a drive but my car would feel like a candle in the sun next to that beast of yours.

Driving we can do bud, I would not worry about how fast or slow your car is, as I am not in the habit of racing everywhere I go.

OK, It would be unfair not to add a couple of recent pics to this great car's thread.... this of course without the intention of boring you guys with EPIC pics on this cold Monday morning

I can now confirm, what Nick, the prior owner of this amazing Z4M has done is turn a otherwise odd but understated car into a ballistic looking motorway muncher...

For the eagle eyed viewers, that wet spot just in front of the front wheel in the last pic is the evidence of the washer fluid leaking out, I suspect a outlet tube popped off due to the rate of loss.
