Nice ride dude,

Mine used to look like that, then the mods started.

WOuld you like a set of Carbon Fibre mirror covers. I have a set that will fit your car R1 100 for the two

Parked the car there for the 1st wife's folks... Their old merc that got broken into and basically ripped apart inside. Can't do much yet as police dusted for fingerprints and now the long wait to get insurance to fix it.

Ok so i decided to try and make a subtle change to my car....
For one i don't like the chrome kidneys much so i thought that needs to change but what i would like is to get myself a set of black grills and Renz guys as awesome as they are say they have a set. Input from your side please everyone.. do you think it will look good on my car ?

This i did last night... First DIY ever and it took me around an hour and 10min.
What do you think of the outcome ?

Thanks Onyx... :)

It is a good change i think... I want my car to look different to any other Bimmer on the road so i'm trying a few things.. :)

Where are you going for the test drive ? anywhere around bryanston area ? :thinker:

Ok i am gonna be blatantly honest here wrt a 323i... These cars are not built for robot to robot or anything of that sorts. Below 3k Rpm it might feel as if it hasn't got power, well alot of people say this. But in all honesty i didn't buy this car for robot 2 robot drags or any topspeed chase another person around a block type of scenario...

I decided the other day to push my car a bit just to see what happens "private test road" :mmm: and clocked 214 on my GPS which is in any way too bloody fast for our roads.
The car handles decent, very good brakes... For me it's all round a really good car. :)

Fuel economy is not bad either, again saying it all depends on how heave that right foot of yours is. but open road cruising 120 i got it down to 6.5 to 7l/100km which is not bad i think. Traffic - max 10.1l/100km - combined cycle i would say around 8-9l/100km which is good for me. :)

Herr BMW also has a 323i so let's see what he gets ? HERR !!!!!! your input on yours also please.. :)

All in all a great car and i love her. :)

Hope it helps in making your decision.. Let me know where you going for that testdrive though..

i am sitting on about 14l/100km but i travel through northcliff to work so up the hills and round the circles is a killer.
if you are like me and drive the car a bit harder than most people it can be rewarding, and the car does well if you push over 4000rpm.
still no 330i though!

I agree with you cole...

I travel... well try to travel when there's no traffic so i get to work at 6 in the mornings and it's highway most of the way for me so i do tend to give it a little as there's almost no traffic on the road at that time..

Hometime then comes at 4 and traffic not too bad either that time. :)

14 seems a bit high but if you sit in traffic one can understand.. and i agree it's not a 330i but still a really good car and enough performance IMHO...

Looking good buddy!
The actual DIY isn't that bad hey... just a bit time consuming... but the results are worth it.

Not many locals have changed to white angels on the e90 yet.
