I think of all the stuff done to my car this is by far the damn coolest modification.....Just love it when those G-Force flames lit up....

Copy-past from Turnermotorsport:"...most advanced BMW steering wheel ever produced! The computerized BMW Performance steering wheel has lots of tricks up it's sleave,

including built in progressive LED shift light indicators,
a lap timer (with programmable track sections),
G-force display (both lateral & forward g's),
and coolant & oil temp displays.
It has two "hidden" buttons, both located at the thumb positions for controlling the wheels internal functions.
(It also has 0 - 100 as well as quater mile stop watch built in)

Not only is this wheel packed with technology, but it also looks and feels incredible. It features the thick and "chunky" feel of the M3 steering wheel, covered in beautiful alcantara suede leather combined with standard black leather and attractive contrasting white stitching. The wheel does not include an airbag, but all cars that came with the round "sport" style airbag have a compatible and interchangeable airbag. The wheel also does not include the center trim (the area the radio / cruise control buttons attach too), so you can either re-use your stock center trim piece OR purchase a matching alcantara suede trim piece. Includes wiring, instructions, slip ring and owners manual."

(For All 1 Series and E9x 3 Series - E90/E91/E92/E93)

I will take some better pics over the weekend. But here are some of my own and other peoples pictures of the steering wheel. See also short demo video:

While I still had my 135i (prior to the mild bumper bashing), this was by far and away my favourite piece of Performance gear. The upside is that my Performance laden silver 135i will soon be available for sale as I have traded it in on a Z4 sdrive3,5 :):):)

I will miss the steering wheel though:mmm::mmm::mmm::mmm::mmm::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling:

So I was thinking :thinker: what's your quarter mile time according to the performance steering wheel.
