Help with radio volume control.

Yesterday while cruising and listening to the radio,out of the blue the volume maxed itself and cant be controlled now What do I do now.Car is X5 E53 3.0i

Thats one of the more weird things ive heard a BMW do.

Electrical issue (exposed wires touching) or battery low on voltage?
