Help with new rims

Hey guys hope you well,

So I need a little advice. Im driving a e87 2006 model 118i. I was enquiring at a shop for a set of new shoes. I mailed the salesman a pic of the rims i want. The guy suggested I put on a BBS RS. I was looking more for a BBS Narrow and Wide look or the BMW 1M rim. He replied saying my car wont fit the BBS Narrow and Wide.

Now when it comes to this I am a Noob. So can you guys help in telling me what rims would fit that more or less the same as the 1M rim.

Firstly, what size wheels are you looking at?

If you are referring to 1M wheels, I assume that you are after 19's?

Im after a set of 18s. Im going to upload a pic now of the mag i had in mind.

Ok, the spec is very dependent on whether you want a straight fitment all round or a staggered setup.

The first option allows tyre rotation but doesn't look at nice on the rear because the stance isn't great with the same width.

The second option would be to run a staggered setup with the same size tyres but then you need to sit with the negatives of a stretched setup.

The third option is staggered with the correct intended size tyres which doesn't allow rotation. Some people find this to be an issue whilst I don't. You technically get to replenish 2 tyres at a time and not struggle for funds to replace all 4 at one go. Matter of preference at the end of the day.

So, unless you know the wheel widths at least, it will be a thumb suck with the rest of the specs.

Well i have a 135i dct coupe. I changed my rims when i bought the car. So i have the original 135i rims in the box still brand new. If you are interested in buying it, let me know. I can send you a pic. My email is [email protected]. Its not like the 1M rims but it does look good. It will fit your car. They are 18" rims.
