Help please

[BMW135I]

Hi guys,

Started the car this morning and it is jerking quite a bit and now have a cc ID 29 showing? Does anyone know what that means?

Hope this helps. The menu codes should be the same though. This will at least give you a idea where to go and look as well as the Fault experienced.

It usually when it's cold then warms up and all is okay so I presumed it's just the weather, clearly not. However today is the first time the engine malfunction decal showed.

BMW say must bring it in as it could be a host of issues, so the car is going in on Wednesday. They did say that if the car can't go over 2000rpm smoothly or get over 100kmh without any drop in power then I must stop driving and bring it in immediately

When I need to get my plugs changed thats the excuse I use and it works everytime. :roflol:
Chances are they will do your plugs first as the symptoms point in that direction. The injectors and HPFP might be done due to the recall as well.

My thoughts exactly, they refuse to do it.............

Will see after a week of starting to replace parts and paying for my car rental :thumbs:

So they still have your car? Mine is going in on Wednesday, not driving it until then. Guy was giving me lots of atitude with the loan car situation tho. Is it mandatory to do the hpfp? Or only when it gives issues? Let me know what they say about yours, sounds just like mine, will let you know about mine

I just got my 135i so not the most knowledgable but my car did have a shudder before I took delivery ! BMW replaced all the injectors and plugs , have not had an issue since. Maybe a good place to start looking

Looks like BMW are replacing 6 injectors, so that was the problem with the ccid29 code. Should get my car back tomorow.

Shall I tell them to do the pe as well? Is it really worth it without any power gain? I know I asked this in a previous thread but just don't seem to be convinced?

Mine is still in and they will look at the injectors today, I have abrand new F30 320i, I am happy, they can keep my car for another week, will let you know what the outcome is as well.

It's at sandton auto. They were awesome, drop it off at 8, they called before 10, so that's cool. What do you think of the pe?

Enjoy the loaner...when my car went in to get polished they gave me a 330i, was fun for about a day or so but then missed my car over the weekend to be honest
