Hi all,

I am hoping someone can assist me with the my 2007 E90 325i Navigation & Radio. The vehicle was imported from Japan and the navigation shows a map of Japan which i'd like to change to the local South(ern) African map. Also the radio only searches between about 80 and 90 on the frequency. Does anybody know how to go about getting these sorted without having to source a replacement radio from local 2nd hand vehicle?

I've attached a pic of the vehicle dash for reference.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

If you connect your fone to the car with the audio jack cable, you can stream from radiojapan.org
This way you can at least listen to most of the major Japanese radio stations that your car is not currently receiving due to being out of range.

I'm guessing ure in Botswana

The best course of action here is to upgrade to a CIC system, one with software version cic.c1a Europe or US version. There is an exploit on this version that allows the unit to be "virginized" and certificates resigned. You will then have navigation and can load the latest southern Africa maps.I did a full cic retrofit on my japan e90

You can Pm me for information
