Went for a breakfast run today, I hit temperatures of 44 Celsius in Paarl, the car (Z3 M Coupe) didn't like that at all. Got some jibbing over 7000 rpm. Western Cape is the next best thing to hell! Time to move.....

Since around 11 this morning I have been parked in the pool. We went to my wife's cousin around 5 this afternoon, and I saw 36 degrees celcius on the cars outside temp display. This was in the area between durbanville and tygervalley.

There were some thunder and lightning around 3 this morning with like 10 drops of water. It hardly cooled down overnight and I even had the aircon on this morning on my way to work...

I want it to rain...

At least you have some live Koi, we'll have fish soup here. Today again saw 43 degrees in Brackenfell about half an hour ago. Then the Ausies complain about 32 degrees, they are such pussys..:excited:

It's insanely hot here in Somerset West as well. Unfortunately I don't have a temp sensor in my car so don't know how hot it is really. There is breeze, but that's even hotter than just the sun...
