Hi,

I will post some pictures tomorrow.

I also have a list of problems that needs to be sorted, hopefully I'll find the answers here.

Hi guys.

My apologies for not uploading any pics yet, life got busy.

Anyway, they are uploading to my Drive now and should be posted soon.

Thanks

I have some weird sound coming from the rear, the revs drops when it happens.
Below is a link to a video with sound it makes, about 21 seconds into the video.

Welcome!

That is a nice color! Is it Topaz or Orient blue?

Hmm revs dropping and noises from the rear? Could not hear anything in the video, could it be fuel pump?

Hi, the colour Is Mystic Blue but the previous owner had the bonnet blown over. The colour does not match but I'm planning on respraying it.

I did suspect that it could be coming under the rear seat and I was planning on replacing the fuel pump.

The following is what I did since taking ownership of my car.

Oil and oil filter, Shell HX8 and Mann oil filter.
K&N air filter.
Cabin filter.
Automatic gearbox oil cooler, from Goldwagen.
ATF gearbox oil, Ravenol OEM.
Front discs, Sure Brake.
Front and rear brake pads, febi.
Front and rear brake sensors, Stone.
New tyres, Vitour.
Front passenger Vapour barrier, I must still check drivers side front and rear.
Replace window washer pump, used genuine and cleaned pipes and sprayers.

And I removed the thermostat for the gearbox oil cooler.

No codes since since it was cleared the day I got it.

Quite a few things I still want to do but finding OEM parts is scarce but genuine is still my first option though.

Thanks guys.

Hi guys

It's been awhile since I last posted but work.

I have since replaced the water pump, both v-belts, tension pulley and guide pulley.
I have also done the electric fan swap as my clutch fan was starting to fail.

I'm also getting new codes, P0011 and P0012. I'm assuming Vanos rebuild time.

I have order the Vanos kit from Peter@AEW this morning.

If I don't forget, I'll take some pics of the jobs once started.

Thank you
