Thanks for the welcome man.

Unfortunately M3 went upside down in a freak 60 kph accident when hitting a wet patch in the road. Spun around a few times and all was cool until it went off the road and down a small bank, rolling and flipping once leaving me with 3 serious breaks in my neck. These things happen, not much you can do, I have just come back from a week of trouble free Porsche racing, go figure.

here is the dead M3

No stress man, all cool.

Not racing anymore, can only drive an auto now with broken neck story. Have had a few Porsches, currently got a very rare 1987 944 Porsche turbo Cup (one of only 240 in the world) and 19 that came to SA

Noooo, properly sad about the M. :thumbdo:

Now talk to us about your Porsche racing. There's currently a track Porsche for sale by a forum member.

Wow guys thanks for all the welcomes pretty cool.

Good to be driving a BMW again after 7 years without one. Just a little 318ti but only done 76 000km so pretty cool and a very nice drive.

Planning on wrapping it and putting some M3 wheels on it as one of my companies buys and sells Porsche spares so need to put some radical graphics on the car to get it to be noticed

Welcome. Scary freak accident you had that could happen to any one so easily. I lost a car at the same speed many years ago when another car hit us at the back wheel...car flipped over & roll twice...went off the road & into a ditch. I broke my nose & wife broke two ribs. Fortunately, we were in a Nissan sentra. Everything else were squashed up except for the front cabin...was like a cacoon around us protecting us...amazing.

All strength to you. More pix of the ti...lovely and rare car that

Horrible accident - How does one recover from such a thing? I cant imagine ever wanting to set foot in a BMW again after that. :sorry:

Thanks for all the welcomes and condolences about the accident, these things happen what can one say.

Neck broken in 3 places and originally paralyzed from the neck down, but 8 years of hard physiotherapy 5 - 7 days a week 3 times a day and sheer stubbornness I can now walk with a granny walking frame and drive an auto so all good and grateful to be able to do that at least.

"when life throws you a curve ball it is how you catch it that counts"

Wrong forum for 944 turbo cup photos but here is one as requested, very rare and super fast car more info on the Porsche Planet website for those interested. Doesn't look like much but hand built by Porsche motorsport and faster than a modern day GT3 around a racetrack today.

318 TI is due to be wrapped in carbon orange with black graphics for our JB Racing company soon, will post pics when that happens, hopefully some M3 wheels soon as well.
