Hello from the US!

Hey everyone,

I am a south african currently living here in the US (oklahoma to be exact). I am originally from Joburg. I enjoy browsing on these forums and seeing what people back in SA are doing (especially with 335i owners).

Right now I own a 2008 alphine white 335i sedan. The car has roughly 57,000 miles and I got it about a year ago. Absolutely love the N54 platform. As of right now I did the following few mods on the car

JB4
DCI
7" VRSF FMIC
BMW m3 replica 19inch rims

Future mods
Downpipes - probably from VRSF also
M3 front bumper
Possibly Mtech rear bumper

There is a gas station right around the corner where I live that has E85, so I always fill my tank up with roughly 40/60 of 85/91 on map 5. The car is absolutely loving this!

Well - looking forward to reading some more and looking at what my bretherin back in SA are doing. (See below for pics of my car)

Welkom hier. Ek wens ek kon VRSF front I/C vir my kry, maar die wisselkoers deesdae, en die duur shipping maak dit onmoontlik.

Ek het die VRSF downpipes op my kar. Jy sal nie spyt wees oor hulle nie.

Mooi kar. Hoe voel dit om aan die verkeerde kant te bestuur?

Riaan - Mens raak maar gou gewoond. Ek sal graag die DP wil kry hier in die volgende paar maande, moet maar net deur vroulief kom! Ek wil baie graag eers my voorste en agterste bumpers vervang - moerse scratches op hulle wat n groot irritasie vir my is. Dink die M3 bumper sal nogals nice lyk op die kar :rollsmile:

hoosain - that is definitely one of the best bang for the buck, but I would rather just get the DP and not have to worry about all the settings that is involved with the Meth.

Here are some pics of the FMIC install. My buddy is a BMW tech so he did most of the hard work :biglol:. I didnt realize how big of a job it was to install this (took roughly 3-4 hours) - he also had to do quite a bit of cutting to get this sucker in there.....
